Today's fun fact! The Windshield Wiper was Invented In 1902 By A Woman named Mary Anderson Whom which Didn't even know how to Drive. at age 36 Mary Anderson thought it made no sense that New York streetcar drivers had to keep jumping off to clean snow from the windshield. She soon won a patent for her "window cleaning device" in 1903. According to the National Inventors Hall of Fame, her invention was simply ahead of its time, as other companies and entrepreneurs were able to profit off her original ideas while she was ultimately unable to find the manufacturers needed to carry on and the patent expired in 1920.
